This guide explains how to install the Chinese language pack in your Windows Server 2025 VPS, including both Simplified and Traditional Chinese options.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Open Settings

Click the Start menu.

Select the Settings icon (gear) or press Win + I on your keyboard.
2. Navigate to Language Settings

In the Settings window, click on Time & Language.

Then go to Language & Region (in some builds, it may be called “Language Preferences”).
3. Add the Chinese Language

Under Preferred languages, click Add a language.

Type Chinese in the search box.

Choose one of the following:

Chinese (Simplified, China)
-
Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan or Hong Kong SAR)

Click Next.
4. Install the Language Pack

On the next screen:

Ensure Install language pack is checked.

(Optional) To change the system interface to Chinese, check Set as my Windows display language.

Click Install.
5. Wait for Installation

Windows will download and install the language components. It may take a few minutes.
6. (Optional) Set Chinese as Display Language

If you selected Chinese as your display language, the system will ask you to Sign out.

Click Sign out, then log in again. Your Windows interface will now be in Chinese.
Additional Notes:

A VPS reboot is usually not needed, but you can restart if the interface doesn’t change immediately.

Make sure your VPS has active internet access to download the language files.
