How to Install Chinese Language in Windows Server 2022 VPS

This guide will help you install the Chinese language pack in your Windows Server 2022 VPS. These steps are applicable for both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Open Settings

• Click on the Start button.

• Select Settings (gear icon), or press Win + I on your keyboard.

2. Go to Language Settings

• In the Settings window, click on Time & Language.

• Then click Language & Region.

3. Add Chinese Language

• Under Preferred languages, click on Add a language.

• In the search bar, type Chinese.

• Choose either:

   

  • Chinese (Simplified, China)

  • Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan or Hong Kong SAR)

   

• Click Next.

4. Install Language Pack

• On the next screen, make sure Install language pack is selected.

• (Optional) If you want to use Chinese as the display language, check Set as my Windows display language.

• Click Install.

5. Wait for Installation

• The system will download and install the language pack. This may take a few minutes depending on your network speed.

6. (Optional) Change Display Language

• If you selected to set Chinese as the display language, you will be prompted to Sign out.

• Click Sign out, and log back in. Your system interface will now appear in Chinese.

Notes:

• A VPS reboot is usually not required, but if changes do not reflect, you can restart the system.

• If you are facing issues with Windows Updates or downloads, ensure that the VPS has internet access.
