This article is only applicable to Linux VPS users, it will not work with Windows VPS.
By default our provisioning system assigns Realtek NIC drivers to your VPS, but to get even better network performance for your linux VPS you can try to change your NIC/Network Card Driver to Virtio. You can do that from your VPS control panel.
Login to your VPS control panel, then click on "Manage" for the VPS you want to optimise, then scroll down and click on the "Settings" TAB and on the right hand side from the drop box select "Virtio" under Network Drivers, don't change any other settings unless you know what you are doing. Now reboot your VPS from the control panel. If you face any issues just submit a support ticket we will do it for you.
