We are about to complete migration of our VPS in NY and LA, and simultaneously we are now even starting migration of our Shared Web Hosting and Reseller Web Hosting services to our new server in Equinix, Los Angeles.
This post is to keep you updated about the status, we will post all the updates over here.
We are also in the process of sending out email to all web hosting and reseller web hosting customers.
Please take note of the following points:
1) We will try to keep the old server online for as long as possible, but cannot give exact date until when it will stay online
2) Your web hosting IP Address will change, so if you are using our NameServers i.e. ns1.da1.hosteons.com and ns2.da2.hosteons.com you need not worry about it, but if you are using CloudFlare or some other third party DNS Service, then you will need to change the IP, once your account is migrated you can either login to your new account and view it over there or we will even post it here, you can even ask it via support ticket.
3) There will be few hours difference in data being transferred from old server to new server, so if you are making any updates in past few hours, you may need to make those same changes in the new server as well.
4) Once Migration is completed we will point da1.hosteons.com to the new server, so you can login as usually using your current username and password
5) Some features might take another 1-2 days to implement like softaculous, light speed etc... but your website will continue to work as those are addons not necessary to run website.
